3. Police

During a lesson in Professional Skills we had a visit from the police, talking to us about Photographers right and terrorism and how you might look suspicious when taking a photo outside in the street. One of the main reasons that they visited was to talk about terrorism.

The terrorism talk was to make us more aware on terrorism, violence, and different form of extremist activity.

The website below allows you to take a better view on..

  • Counter terrorism
  • what you can do
  • How to react in immediate threat to life
  • Communities and Partnerships Team.
  • Useful links

They also helped us on what to do if we got into trouble with a policeman/women when out taking photographs and how to react if they insist you delete you photo.

I have learnt through this session that you can only take photographs on property that isn't private, If a person asked you to delete your photo you do not need to and they cannot take it off you.

If there is any problems the police is where you should look to.
