Networks - North East photography Network

this website was to promote the photography in the North East England and beyond. They work with photographers, artists, curators and a wide range of audiences for photography.
They give opportunities for photographers by commissions, talks, discussions groups and portfolio review events.
There is also programmes which are held to allow you to explore ideas and inspire fresh thinking. They work closely with photographic artist who enable production of new work and the exchanging of new ideas. They mentor young people through commissioning and advice programs.

This organisation is to focus on providing an excellent promotion in photography, doing this through taller space, library with an archive members work, darkrooms and educational activities for schools. It also has plans to promote awareness and act as a forum for people who are interested in photography.
Prints from other photographers such as Martin Parr, Willie Doherty and a set of portraits by Lee Friedlander was were the money came from to run the place due to raffles with these prizes.
