If i was going to go into a photography job at the end of this degree i would most likely go into being employed rather than self employed, only due to the fact that you get to learn the ropes more and then maybe in the further go self employed once having more experience.

starting a photography business does not seem as straight forward and will consist of a large amount of hard work, but once getting it under your belt and producing the documents and other requirements you will be set for life.
Photography to me is a great way of becoming independent as well as working in a team, it gives you the opportunity to experience to different ways in the professional side of photography and offer great opportunities. Like it says above that both employed and self employed offer perks and down sides but that is part of life, all you want is to make sure that your back is covered incase something goes wrong and with forms like the ones stated above you should be covered.
